About My Practice
I am not accepting new patients at this time. To find a therapist, please visit Psychology Today
I specialize in working with individuals to support finding healthy ways to understand and adapt to the challenges and changes that impact our mental health later in life. At various times in our lives, it can be comforting and helpful to connect with a therapist when mental health conditions surface (or continue to linger). Symptoms of depression and anxiety tend to manifest in different ways as we grow older; often accompany life transitions; and tend to be associated with grief and loss issues, relationship problems, aging concerns, functional limitations, physical illness, and substance abuse problems.
My clinical approach is holistic, embracing the fact that our minds and bodies are very much connected; our thoughts and experiences impact our feelings and actions. Building confidence, resilience, hope, and healthy coping styles are just some of the ways to heal and continue to grow, and find meaning and purpose.
As a trained neuropsychologist, my focus in conducting assessments has been geriatric in nature, working with older adults to adapt to cognitive aging and supporting their families and care providers in this dynamic and challenging process. I have opted to be a Medicare provider; therefore most of my services provided to older adults, as well as with their adult children are usually covered.
As a presenter and educator, I offer health and wellness programs including brain health workshops and custom presentations designed to challenge the mind and enrich the spirit.
Telehealth Support
I offer HIPAA-compliant, telehealth services via video and phone.
